Hi Peter,

This is really awesome. The coloour the light and the depth are proportionate. The patterns are sharp on the wing though it's a little out of focus on the right side - due to a slanted pov I guess. Nonetheless you made a good capture of these elusive flyers.

ja, wirklich eine bezaubernde Schönheit - und sie sitzt da wunderbar, man erkennt die Struktur der Flügel so gut.
Auch ein frischer Hintergrund und warmes Licht, gefällt mir sehr.
Das letzte Mal als ich diese schöne Libelle sehen durfte bin ich vor Freude gleich für sie "ins Wasser gegangen". Sie saß so schön auf einem Halm, ähnlich wie Deine hier, nur eben etwas weiter drin im See ... aber egal, die Schuhe haben's überlebt ;-) Zum Ausziehen war keine Zeit, in der Zwischenzeit hätte sie ja davonfliegen können ...

Preparaste bien el escenario Peter !

El fondo es muy cuidado con diagonales suaves de interesante iluminación.
Buen enfoque y profundidad del motivo principal, sacando un buen partido a esos colores metálicos que recuerdan una joya.
Excelente y delicado trabajo.

Friend, in days past, I remember telling you that your photos are very "efficient" and "technically perfect ".... Well, now I have said, that this is these both things ... and additionally are superb beautiful!... Bravo! ... questa immagine sua è una meravigliosa opera d'arte! bravissimo! carissimo amico! Hello Peter,
A very nice capture of L. quadrimaculata, perhaps the most common dragonfly here but I never tire of watching it as it is so beautiful! I like its pose here, the clear details of the wings and the fine natural background. I've just captured one myself that I might post soon!
