The Pin-tailed Whydah, Vidua macroura, is a small songbird. It is a resident breeding bird in most of Africa south of the Sahara Desert.

The Pin-tailed Whydah is 12-13 cm in length.

Nice to see again your beautiful birds. This one looks super! I like your composition too. Bravo and TFS.

Simply superb .but i would like to see the full picture in the frame for the beauty of the bird is in its tail.
Otherwise Good sharp and excellent POV.

A beautiful bird indeed, and the colors are very nice.. As its name speaks, i would have liked to see its entire tail, but this is good too! :) i like its pose alot.
