nice orchid, if you would lay down completety the shade will be less problematic. greetings, Ori
Hello anita , a belated welcome to TN some intresting images you have posted, with good clear details.
This particular image taken in very difficult condtions under the heavy shade of trees and unfortunatly the flash seems to have highlighted a lot of the detail area and making strong shadows behind the flowers.
to help solve this there are a couple of things you can do. 1st is touse a tripod to add a steadiness to the camera along with a slightly lower point of veiw the tripod may allow you to not use the flash but a long shutter time instead and using the self timer to reduce the vibration of the camera even more. also the lower POV will allow the flash to through the shadows further behind the subject so not be so distracting.
if you have any questions please ask.
Thank you for sharing this rarity with us, yours Robert
Bonjour Anita,
Je viens de découvrir ta superbe galerie. Tu as eu beaucoup de chance de pouvoir admirer la floraison de Epipogium aphyllum, c'est une espèce que je n'ai jamais eu l'occasion de voir.
