Hallo Ori
My compliments towards this great photo of yours. Good exposure and focus. I can imagine that such a lot of these tiny orchids together could give a lovely scent. The flowers are very fine and petite. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards.

Dear Ori
Thanks so much for presenting us with this unusual Himanthoglossum hircinum!
I looked it up in my Encyclopedia of Orchids and saw that the English name is lizard orchid; and the bizzar straplike lip some 40-50 mm long; the thick stems reaching 70 cm and as many as 80 flowers have been recorded on strong plants...
""They are best left outdoors at flowering time because of the 'heady' odor, which is particularely obvious in the early evening.""
Have a nice evening and a good week,
Greetings from a Socer World cup crazy South Africa
Take care,my friend
Ingrid
