[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It felt a bit odd to observe a shoot pictures of this act of love. But these common lizards (Lacerta vivipara) didn't seem to mind. The background in this picture is a bit of a mess, but you're not always in the position to decide about that.
The male lizard is on the left and bites the female to make a firm couple. The whole thing lasted only 1 minute.

Tis is really a great shot! Excellent timing :)
The POV is simply excellent, the focus and DOF spot-on, the light very nice and the BG, honestly, very fitting for the species :) I always prefer natural surrounding to any subject in a picture than a prepared artificial place, in which they will be photographed. Very well done!

Very good photo of mating lizards. It may not be perfect, but when real animals are doing real life things, you take what you get.
