[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus) is a small Old World vulture, the only member of the genus Neophron. Egyptian Vultures are scavengers, mainly feeding off carrion, but they also prey on small mammals and eggs.

The adult Egyptian Vulture usually measures 85 cm from the point of the beak to the extremity of the tail and 1.7m between the tips of the wings. It weighs about 2.1 kilograms.

Egyptian Vultures are quite widely distributed and can be found in India, south west Asia, the Iberian Peninsula, and central and north Africa.

Hello Biswarup,
It's amazing the way this bird fill the photo.
Despite its own beauty, it has "character" enough to transmit a lot of visual impact.
POV works great in this case, very good exposition that let us appreciate all the feathers from the whole body. I like specially the bird's head, it seems like using a type of hat or something like these.
The orange tone os the head's skin makes a great contrast, it goes so smooth to the tip of the beak, and then becomes from another color. Magnificent!
Congratulations for this photo, and thanks for share,
Regards,
JM

I like this guy, Biswarup. : )
Very impressive hairdo.
Excellent exposure and sharp details on this unusual vulture.
TFS. : )

Very good control of the exposure. The whites are well defined without being overblown at all. Would have been perfect if you managed a full bodied shot of this bird.
