Hi catherine. I am sorry i can not help with the ID But i am sure someone will know . What ever its turns out to be you took a first class close up. We can see every little detail with sharp focusing. Your use ofthe light has given bright colours. Well taken TFS.

I do know what is the better: amazing smooth and attractively coloured BG or rare bug on a thick stem. Great macro work with superb details of the insect and stem, charming colour palette of the shot and fine diagonal com[position of the image. Compliments and kind regards.

Unfortunately i could not help you on id. But i think it may be Corpocoris species. You've managed to focus very nicely. The exposure, DOF/POV and composition are also wonderful.

Can't help, but it sure is a nice one, details are very good and charasteristics can be well seen even on the head part. composed nicely against the complementer colored transition of the bg. TFS!
