Not the best lens for a closeup, but an opportunist shot with more colour than the fascin ating archaic sculpture

A beautiful little skipper butterfly captured in an attractive diagonal pose. Rich natural colors and just the right amount of exposure. The bright blue flowers are an added bonus.
The color contrast is eye catching. It would have been lovely had the focus been bang on the butterfly.
