Libythea celtis (Laicharting 1782)

Common English Name: Nettle-tree Butterfly

I showed yesterday the underside of this beautiful species.
Today I am presenting you a specimen photographed with open wings.
The uppersides of the wings of this fascinating butterfly are dark brown, with bright orange dots.

Nice to see both sides of the butterfly, so well done for us. The colours are very natural and the lighting, POV very good. DOF favours the flowers a little more than the outer parts of the wings, which are not fully open, so maybe a smaller aperture would have helped. Personally, I may have cropped it a little closer too. Fine picture though, thanks.
