Hi George.
Unfortunatly its the prickly bush thats in focus, changing your focus point would have helped here if you had put it on spot focus so that it was the lizard under the bush sharp. You did get him at a good moment though looking back at you. A bit of a crop would also bring the eye straight to the lizard, eliminate some of the other distractions to the eye.
Try again if you get the oppurtunity, sorry I cannot help on the ID.
