[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Crown Anemone (Anemone coronaria) is a Ranunculaceae, of the Anemones family. It has pink, red, blue, lavender or purple flowers, often with a white of yellowish central zone. We can find it on hillslopes and grassy fields, in Mediterranean zone, from January to April.

I know, it's a common flower in the Mediterranean, but for me it is a so beautiful flower, with a extraordinary light.

L’anémone couronnée (Anemone coronaria) est une renonculacée, de la famille des anemones. Elle a des fleurs roses, rouge, bleu, lavande ou pourpres, souvent avec une zone centrale blanche ou jaunâtre. On la retrouve sur les pente et les prairies grasses, en zone méditerranéenne, de janvier à avril.

Je sais, c'est une fleur commune en région méditerranéenne, mais pour moi c'est une fleur superbe, avec une lumière extraordinaire.

In Afrikaans we have a saying: "Hoe rooier hoe mooier" and that is most applicable here. It means the more red, the more beautiful. Very sharp and beautiful details of the precisely shaped petals and anthers. I especially like the wrinkled effect on the yellowish part of the petals. It displays well and is a lovely close-up.
