[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was running back from this butterfly more than 30 minutes. A summer wind from the north was too strong and the butterfly never stops to eat on a flower and help me to shot. Finally the butterfly stops and I found the excellent POV to shot this insect but suddenly the wind blow again and a little branch appears in front of the butterfly. What a pity…
Someone to help me with the ID

Yasu Thodoris,
Very nice capture.I liked POV,colors, clear details, sharpness and framing a lot.I think green plant ahead is a little disturbing and would be better if you cloned it.Nevertheless great work!

Hello Thodoris
Sometimes it results exasperating to try to catch a good shot of these creatures.
Maybe it is a pity that little branch, but it's a great picture nevertheless. I like very much the POV and composition. I rather think the butterfly is Melitaea athalia. Beautiful job.
Best wishes

Hello Thodoris
Even with a branch in front of the butterfly, you have an excellent shot.
Great colors and details and excellent POV, DOF and BG.
Excellent composition and framing.

Hi Thodoris

Nice shot only spoilt by the stalk, but that's nature photography for you! :-)

Hello Thodoris,
pretty shot of that Melitaea taken from a very good point of view in perfect, well shaping light. I like the cute dancing pose of that butterfly with one hind leg in the air.
That blade of grass in between you and your target - I guess I know what you are talking about: Stormy weather and unpredictable vegetation and can make us macro photographers mad with frustration and anger, sometimes. Or it can turn us into a photographers of landscapes. Or both.
Thank you, my friend. Best regards,

Hello Thodoris,
Very good light...
Beautiful butterfly..
