[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is another one photo from last summer.
This butterfly is one of my favourites and not because of the colors. This one let me shot it for some minutes and when I stopped flew away.My first shot without running behind a butterfly. But when I saw the result I'm not so impressed.
The conclusion is that when you are trying many times for a shot the result is better from a shot that waiting for you.

Very charming capture, Thodoris. The shot is well composed from a good perspecive, DOF is pretty good and the colours are pleasant. The butterfly looks like a veteran, going by its slightly damaged wing; however, that does not make any difference to its overall appeal.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your observations.

Hi Thodoris,
Nice shot of the Melitea athalia. It really looks, like Ram says, like a veteran. I have had a look at your site, there are a lot of very natural pictures I like a lot.
Best regards

Hello Thodoris,
A very good close up of this butterbly.
I like the close close approach and all details you got on the wing's pattern and their colors.
Good POV and DOF used here, it puts away the subject from the background.
Very good balanced composition.
Congratulations, thanks for share and kind regards,

Ricardo

Nice composition Thodoris with aesthetic inclination of the butterfly inside the scene with natural colors.
The focus and sharpness seem something soft with some lack of clarity in the details.
The posterior out of focus is acceptable producing a good takeoff of the insect on the bottom.
Interesting presentation... thank you for sharing.
A cordial greeting from Buenos Aires... Ricardo

Hello Thodoris,
that is a pleasant presentation of Melitaea, with its soft colours and fine details well reported. The picture looks as relaxed as the situation you describe in your notes that are nice to read. Thank you!
Best regards,

Thodoris, Very very nice shot and I like the composition. Should have been little more bright (personal opinion) Ganesh
