Warm welcome to TN!!! Lovely subject for your first post. Very interesting posture as well, so this makes for a very interesting post. DOF is perfectly set as the BG is blurred enough not to be distracting and the feather detail is awesome. I think the pic might be a little underexposed as i cannot see the eye of the bird.

Tasos, this is a superb shot. One of the best I have seen of the goldfinch- and i do have quite a number of shots in my collection from various sites. Great composition,great moment, colour, light. Just beautiful. My compliments. Regards. Klaudio.
