[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Early in the morning I decide to go for a walk away from my village. I passed the river and the monastery of my village and I reached the place called “Negris”.
If anyone wants to see that place you will find it on Trekearth.
There are a lot of meadows and flowers and many butterflies.
I found the "Iphiclides podalirius" on a flower but when I approached left away.
I tried this many times… at least… 1 hour but nothing.
So I decide to stop trying and I take the way back. When I reached the river where we pass with the car, thru the water, I saw something near the river.
I stopped the car away from there, I took my camera and I try to approach the butterflies taking photos again and again.
For my good luck I see that the butterflies drinking water and not afraid at all. So I start taking photos so close to them that I could not believe it.
Thank you for all "Iphiclides podalirius"

This is a very nice gathering of Iphiclides podalirius eating some minerals from the wet soil.
Good picture of an unique moment!

Most of us are content with one Swallowtail, then you come along with ten! A very nice picture to illustrate this behaviour.
Thanks, Nigel.

Wow... these guys are having a party! Lucky you to find so many in one place. Nice work Thodoris. Only nit is there is no note.

Impressive document. What a party! Like in the tropics. You seem to have a splendid place to take pictures in your country. Sorry you forgot to write some notes. Best regards,

P.S.: Thank you for the fascinating story you added, Thodoris. Big smile.

Hi again.
I like seeing your photos with the butterfyies.
But this one is excellent.
The most beautiful party I ever seen
Well done

Forever Friends -- Forever passes pretty quickly when you are born a butterfly!

Hi Thodoris,
This is an incredible photo of beautiful butterflies. I found the colors to be a bit pale, needed a bit more light and contrast. Also, frame would have been nice too. I did a workshop. Hope you like it.
Best Regards,

You were at the right place at the right moment.
Congratulations for this wildlife realistic document.
