Hello to you all,

Between 23th and 26th of September I was on a national fungi conference in the city of Sopron, in the Underalps region of Hungary. This was the 1st time I had the chance to visit the mountains around Sopron, and I was quite satisfied with the result, because I found many fungi species, including a few which I only knew from literature previously. Although this wasn't my 1st rendezvous with this species, Craterellus tubaeformis, the 1st one when I managed to take useful photos.

Not a new species on TrekNature, I found 3 images of it - but the 1st under this scientific name. Reason of the photo title: modern phyllogenetic studies proved this species belongs to Craterellus genus instead of Cantharellus, so the current name version is Craterellus tubaeformis (Schaeff.) Quél.

Photo: cropping, color balance, very soft cyan filter, noise reduction, USM, framing, signing, re-sizing. I hope you like it.

Hello MF Laszlo,
such an exciting composition again. The depth of the shot is very dramatic with lighting gives a special effect. The sharpness too is lively with hairs well seen in good details.
The three fungi really makes a good pose and they are are pretty and pleasant to look.
What a nice presentation from you and congratulations for involving your self with the fungi club.
Definitely it helps you a lot and it helps us too in TN to enhance our knowledge on fungi.

Best regards,
Foozi

Szia Laci!
Nagyon szép rókagombát sikerült lefotóznod, remek felvétel!Üdv,

Hola Laszlo,

Saludos: Josep Ignasi.

Ciao Lazlo. Perfect sharp and DOF. Fascinating playing of light.

Hello Ladislao
una composizione veramente di gran rilievo. Molto ben gestiti i colori e la luce che li quasi accarezza mettendone in rislato tutta la particolaritŕ e bellezza. Ottima la messa a fuoco.

Hello Laszlo,
A really great capture of these delicious little mushrooms that we're waiting to see here - too dry so far! They're really hard to capture is they hide among the dead leaves on the ground. You managed really well though, showing a nice little bunch very clearly and in good light and in natural colours. A great composition too.
Many thanks and cheers, Ulla

Hello Laszlo,
pleasantly well lighted, well detailed presentation of fragile mushrooms in nice rhythmical composition. After a rainy September, there are so many mushrooms around in our forests, and I find it more and more interesting to know more about them. Admiring specialists like you who are able to indentify even such less known ones as this one. Thank you! With kind regards from your neighbourhood (Bécs),
Peter

Dear Laszlo

Eerything in your portfolio, your photographic technique is just perfect.

I like your work very much, but would prefer a less heavy frame in a more pastel colour ( but one cannot argument taste:-))

The great number of details are very interesting including the rotting wood...

Thank you for all the hard work you do for TrekNature including/especially your notes!

I wish you a good day and week
Warm Greetings
Ingrid
