Hello,

There's a little poetry in Hungary about the warm temperature in spring. There are 3 name-days after each other, Sándor (= Alexander, 18th of March), József (= Joseph, 19th) and Benedek (= Ben, 21st), and the poetry says "Alex, Joseph and Ben / bring the warmth in bag" (original: "Sándor, József, Benedek / zsákban hozzák a meleget"). Now they really did what the unknown poetaster once said and we have around 10 Celsius above zero. The first flower (Tussilago farfara) began to bloom in the city, but due to I already shared exactly this specimen with You last year here, I rather chose from my archives.

The plant You see here is Corydalis cava, white version (there's a violet one existing, too, click workshop). Already shared a few times on TN, see the other pics here.

Photo: on a beautiful, sunny spring day back in 2008. PP: slight dose of gaussian blur on the background, USM on the flowers, framing, re-sizing.

I dedicate the photo to everyone whose name is either Alex, Joseph or Ben (in national versions also) on the site, most importantly to Alexei Alyokhin (Alex99) and József Szabó (joska). Dear Friends, thanks for bringing warmth in Your bags! :)

Thanx for stopping by and commenting, have a great weekend, László

Hi Laszlo.
It is a very touching dedication and simply amazing pictures. Many thanks dear friend. Clarity and transparency of the image are exceptional. I am also impressed with ultimate reproduction of all beauties of the plant and nicely detailed a bit smoothed pictorial BG. Superb picture with lovely subject and wonderful natural colors.
Alexei.
P.S. We also have warm enough days now (about 10-14C). However, it is only first warm days and all bushes and trees are without even buds.

Ciao Ladislao,
Grazie e complimenti
Buona domenica
Ciao Maurizio

Witaj Wladyslaw,
Very interesting note with dedication. The flower is perfectly sharp on nice blurred BG in good spring light. These early flowers grow everywhere under old lime-trees which are around my small place. All these flowers are only violet but here is too early we have there and here snow yet.
Friendly regards, Pawel

Hi Laszlo

Many thanks for this superb spring flower. I notice that spring is more present in your country than in mine. The simple composition highlights the beauty of the flower very well. I also appreciate your notes very much.

Kind regards

Markus

Hello László,
Very beautiful Corydalis taken in its woody biotope. The violet version is very nice too. Here, spring came with some delay and we should wait one or two weeks to see them. The story of the 3 name-days is very interesting too! Happy warm days,
Catherine

Ciao Lazlo. Good dedication to our three clever friends. Excitign light uěon thi beautiful flower with stunningdetaisl againsth the soft/graphic BG.

Hello Laszlo,
It looks like your trademark for flower-pictures is to show them with their natural environment. I like a lot this idea. Yesterday I saw the purple version of these flowers, so now I know their name too.
So a double thank you for the fine picture and your note.
Have a nice Aunday
Kind regards
Anne

Hello Laszlo,
In this photo, what I like most is the relevance of flowers in the foreground, and the contrast of the background elements. Good work, Greetings. Have a happy Week MF!
Jesús

Hello László!

Great note :-) I like your notes very much, because they're interesting and funny like this one. We can learn much from them, not only about Hungarian nature, but also about culture. Picture is very spring, with lots of sunlight and many flowers on BG. And of course maint subject looks great.

Now few words about Polish poetry :-) We've got almost the same - 21st of March is name-day of - surprise - Grzegorz :-) Our proverb says - "Na Grzegorza idzie zima do morza", which means "On Greg's day, winter go away" (exactly it means "winter go to sea").
