[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Trekkers,

During my trip at home in Hungary in the end of March I found the beautiful (and rare) "blackening pasque" (Pulsatilla pratensis ssp. nigricans) again, in the same location as in 2014. Please have a look on to this photo for species info.

Photo: taken in a meadowland closed to the city of Miskolc. Manual exposure mode, macro converter lens. PP: moderate cropping, level and color adjustment.

Thanks for looking at this East European endemism.

Hello Neighbor,
A real beauty and one that I remember from a previous post of yours, mainly because I thought the shape of the bloom resembled a tulip:)
I really like this particular POV as it gives us a great view of the whole plant and the terrain in which it grows. The neat looking filament-like hairs which cover the entire plant are very interesting and quite beautiful. I also like the way the flower appears to have a spiked hairy covered bonnet surrounding it from behind.
Super sharp focus while displaying exceptional detail. Lighting is perfect and colors well saturated yet natural. Great work!!

what a beauty - very well taken with fine colors and great details.TFS
