|I took this photo at the bank of the Danube. While walking, I saw a water-snake on the bank eating a fish. At the moment, when the picture was taken, the fish was still alive.|
I've cropped a bit from the original photo, sharpend it and added a frame. I hope you like it better!
Please, share your opinions of the picture with me!

What a great action catch! This is very well done with excellent details and POV. I like the fact that we see the whole snake. I really like this composition and I think that this framing is much appropriated! Well done! TFS,
Would be interesting to know which snake and fish those are. Hopefully some TN experts will advise on that.
Frame is much original, appropriate and nice.

I was kayaking with a friend on a small snake filled stream in Alabama in the early eighties. We stopped for about 5 minutes and watched a huge mud snake devour a large freshwater eel. As soon as the eel disappeared down the gullet the snake swam off. Oh, how I would have loved to have had a camera!
Your shot is quite excellent!
Thanks for sharing,
Megint nagy pillanatot fogtál... Minimalisztikus kép, csak a drámára koncentrál, de itt pontosan ennyi kell. Sok évvel ezelőtt én is láttam hasonlót, csak ott békát akart étkezni a kígyó. Bevallom, elzavartam a hüllőt, megmentve a brekkencset... Itt viszont nem volt sansza a halnak, meg hát ez a természet rendje...
I like your shot a lot. The composition is excellent, with the snake more or less along the SENW diagonal...
I think the beuatiful markings on the snake can be brought up a wee more. So I did a WS for you, hope you like! ;)

Great take again Marton!
I believe this is Natrix tessellata - dice snake, isn't it?
