During a break in the countryside, it was a pleasant surprise to meet this mother with her offspring to cross the street, she was careful to give a glance to the traffic, but here the car will really go a few.
You can see the next scene in the WS.

Class: Aves
Order: Anseriformes
Family: Anatidae
Tribe: Anserini
Genus: Anser
Species:A. anser

The greylag goose (Anser anser) is a bird in the waterfowl family Anatidae. It has mottled and barred grey and white plumage and an orange beak and legs. A large bird, it measures between 74 and 91 centimetres (29 and 36 in) in length, with an average weight of 3.3 kilograms (7.3 lb). Its distribution is widespread, with birds from the north of its range in Europe and Asia migrating southwards to spend the winter in warmer places. It is the type species of the genus Anser and is the ancestor of the domestic goose, having been domesticated at least as early as 1360 BC. The genus name is from anser, the Latin for "goose".
Greylag geese travel to their northerly breeding grounds in spring, nesting on moorlands, in marshes, around lakes and on coastal islands. They normally mate for life and nest on the ground among vegetation. A clutch of three to five eggs is laid; the female incubates the eggs and both parents defend and rear the young. The birds stay together as a family group, migrating southwards in autumn as part of a flock, and separating the following year. During the winter they occupy semi-aquatic habitats, estuaries, marshes and flooded fields, feeding on grass and often consuming agricultural crops.More info on Wikipedia.

Ciao Luciano,
Interesting line created by these beautiful birds, As always great notes,
Would love to see them much closer as they appear to be extremely beautiful,
You had the sun against you and they were moving in the wrong direction for you to get them facing in front of you, I would go down a bit because I can see you are very tall man, please share more with us, we all appreciate ;)
Best warm regards,

Ciao Luciano!
What a lovely pic showing an adorable family of geese.Nice
diagonal composition.TFS

PS: thanks for you comment in my last pic.I appreciated it.

Hello Luciano,
An interesting image of this family of Greylag Geese as they march across my screen in a diagonal line. Nicely focused with very good exposure considering the full sunlight you had to deal with.
I have never seen this particular species in the wild, but I do see Canada Geese almost every day as they fly over the house. I have counted over 60 in a line like this as they crossed the street holding up traffic for what seemed like ten minutes.

Hello Luciano,
Nice scene with this geese family. I like also the workshop scene....It is a dangerous business to walk on the street....But I hope they lave luck...

Hi Luciano,
Nice family.
Take care
