Hello my Friends!!!
In two days I will leave Lodz for next two weeks so today I decided to present a picture from... one of my last trips
:>

This photo was taken in place named Dun Aengus, Inishmore Island, Aran Islands, one of the most beautiful and peaceful area I have visited in Ireland. The cliffs are some 100 meters and there are only birds, wind and sough of waves... Really amazing place... :>

Near this place there is the most famous of several prehistoric forts on the Aran Islands. It was built during the Bronze Age and dates from 1000 B.C. or even before.

The area of Inishmore Island is some 31 sq. km, and please believe me - it is a fantastic place. Here you can see wonderful cliffs and just a few kilometers later - sandy beaches. There is a breeding colony of seals, and places where many different birds can be observed. In small spaces between rocks many different plant species can be found, some of them much more characteristic for Meditterranean area than NW Europe. Almost no human... only You and Wild Nature... :>

And last but not least, I would like to dedicate this picture to well known TN member and great landscape-photographer - Paul Haynes (PaulH). Dear Paul, I hope that you will like this photo - one of only a few images taken by me till now using polarizer filter :>

PS. See you after 14 July!!! :>

What amazing cliffs - the falling rocks are so interesting. And a dangerous place to walk above too, I imagine.
Well taken

Hello Radomir,
I read your note first and then looked at the land/sea scape, trying to imagine I was by your side and looking at that formidable shore in North Ireland.
It is just magnificent!
This picture reminds me of a small one-act play we used to read in detail for our graduation degree way back in the sixties in which the tragic life of Irish fishermen living on and living by the western coast is portrayed in a touching and heart-rending way.
I can't recall the name of the playwright, unfortunately.
So no wonder that even though the coast looks pristine and beautiful, it is also nature at its loneliest and harshest in terms of human sustenance.
Thanks and best regards.
Ram

Hi Radomir!

You present us a wonderful landscape: it's wild and authentic. I love the impression of wideness and the white waves in the blue sea are repeated as white clouds in the blue sky...

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Radomir,
Very impressive landscape taken from an excellent above point of view. Interesting rock formations, some of the fallen ones seem to be cut by humans. Amazing plateau towards the sea. I'm sure that this is a fascinating area.
Bonne soirée

Hallo Radomir
Due to the fact that I have been ill, I just could not give my comments to some of the lovely images that appeared and past me by on the gallery. Now I have such a lot of catching up to do so please pardon me for only saying……………………
Splendid image. It is indeed a feast to the eye and it did not go unnoticed. This scene is so peaceful and most relaxing to look at. You have captured the white of the waves and the rockformations with great perfection and slendour.
Best regards
Anna

Hi Radomir, fantastic sea view with splendid cliffs, great light and colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hi Radomir,
good, some fresh air, beautiful clouds and these tumbled down rock colums. The picture sure talks of a tumultous geologic past.
Well done. I wonder what he polarizing filter brings, was it improving the clouds or just removing glare from the water surface? Greetings!
Dietrich

Hi Radomir,
firstly let me apologise for not seeing this wonderful dedication sooner! I am truly grateful my friend, it is a beautiful shot and i am honoured. An well chosen POV with superb clarity and excellent detail - you were lucky to catch this spot on such a lovely day!
Very fine work, thanks again.
Paul

Great shot! You have used the rule of thirds really well. The hard rock along with the bluish green sea looks wonderful. Good colours and composition. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Radek,

A superb seascape. Very well composed with lovely colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I was looking at today's post (7/31) and it led me back to your gallery where I found this beautiful shot. I missed a several weeks worth of images whilst out of town.

This is super Radomir. It is a great photo not only for subject ( I like those huge stone blocks, gorgeous sea and sky) but it is technically very well managed. The exposure is balanced throughout and the sharpness color and depth of focus are excellent. The composition just draws one into this beautiful scene on this beautiful sunny day.
