Hi everybody,
This is another Inachis Io from me. This one I took yesterday. It was amazing...so huge. I have never seen one so big. It was just warming up because it was a cold, cloudy day.
I was shooting away when it closed its wings and said: "Can you see me now?" (in my mind ;)) And for a moment I couldn't.
The underwings are so well camouflaged.
This is why I decided to make a collage of the same individual in both postures: the amazing beauty and the "low under the radar" creature.
I hope you like it.

TFW (thanks for watching)!

PS: No coordinates for this one since they keep showing water where there should be land...who knows...

Hello Catalin!
Very good idea to present this species in two different ways! :)
Pictures have of course good quality, including DOF, details, saturation and POV.
TFS and best regards,
Radomir

Good idea to show both sides of wings in the same photo.
Really impressive to see how different both sides are.

Hi Catalin,
it's nice to present this peacock from both sides. It's shows clearly the difference between "hard-to-find" and "Ah-there-it-is".
Nice one.
Regards, Jacob

Hi Catalin,
Congratulations on this collage! It is a very valuable and pedagogic contribution to get to see the species both in its "open" and "closed" state simultaneously, well done and nicely presented. TFS and good luck,
