There are various beaches and rocky sea shores available from the town where I live (Midleton) with 15-20 minutes of driving, so we often spend our evenings on the Atlantic coast. A few days ago, on Inch beach (different than the same-named famous one in Kerry) I photographed a rainbow - this was the 1st time in my life when I managed to shoot this phenomenon created by the waves of the sea / ocean.
Photo: taken on the cliffs of Inch beach, in manual exposure mode, with my wife's serious help. I was waiting for the waves with already set focus and composition, when the wave hit the cliffs, she told "now" - and I released the shutter blindly. :-) PP: adjusting levels and white balance, slight color saturation.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Laszlo,i can see well the rainbow on the left, this style of pics rememeber me what i do in the last year with rainbows made by the big waterfalls in Iceland. Always a nice and great oppotunity to take. Your pic is excellent too and i like the view of the coast so wild too. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

A magnificent seascape image from Inch Beach Ireland. The rocky shoreline reminds me of some of the areas I've seen on the eastern coast of New england. I like the composition which includes not only the beautiful blue ocean, but the rocky coastline some green area and your bonus rainbow. Very sharp photo throughout the entire frame and perfectly exposed.
A captivating seascape with the hint of the rainbow on the left of the frame. The details are lovely with the blue ocean crashing against the rocks & the green cliff. A great view!!
Although the spot you have chosen, visually to me not such breathtaking (due to composition) view, but credit goes to you to present the natural phenomenon nicely and no doubt here timing plays a great role.
Like the way, you have given more importance on the foreground than sky. DOF could have been better in my test if you used f/16 to f/22.
Looking forward to see DSLR pictures ;-)
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice WE,
