[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

An HDR image of the rock formation Bunmahon Head (in the background), taken from the Bunmahon beach, in the Copper Coast Geopark. I'm just learning this technique, but I find it very interesting. Any advices, suggestions how to improve are more than welcome.

PP: merged in camera from 3 shots. With Photoimpact moderate cropping and level adjustment, after re-sizing noise reduction with Neat Image module.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Laszlo. I often use this program which gives good results even if sometimes it is very noisy. It's not your case, the cleaning of the photo is really perfect. You could have lightened the rocks at the bottom, which are too dark for me. For the rest it is a good experiment that starts from a magnificent view of the Irish wild coast. Have a nice SUnday and thanks,Luciano

Hi Laszlo,

The distance between the rocks is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the ciff and of the rocks. I like the different tints of colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

Ciao Laszlo, fascinating sea view with fantastic cliffs, wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Laszlo,
Nice to see you have been learning everyday something like me. I like HDR effect but which looks natural, not like painting. Must do 'Tone Mapping' before SAVE picture. Then edit the picture in your editing software to add or reduce Shadow/Highlight. Otherwise it's natural to get HALLOWS just above the DARK part in the picture. Here left portion of the Rock.
Bit dark picture, need light, and IMHO. Very difficult to bring the details back if you don't get much details in your main picture.

I would like to see your 3 pictures ☺ and will be very glad if you mail me,if possible. I want to do a WS then ☺ and will post.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice week,
Keep shooting and enjoy the essence of Photography,
