One of the finest landscape compositions I have ever seen on this site, Stephen.
The sombre, overcast look somehow evokes in me a sense of quiet reflection over our soujourn on this diverse yet beautiful earth.
While the sun scorches at this time here in the desert, this peaceful haven in your beautiful land seems to extend a soothing touch.
Superb depth of view and natural look. I feel as if I am standing by your side on the shore of this tranquil lake in Ireland.

Very well done landscape. Excellent compsition with the mountain framed between the tree and the wall. Although I am a big fan of sunshine in this case I like the subdued colors of the image. Great depth of field in spite of fairly large aperture. Interestingly enough, the mountain looks much bigger than its height would suggest. Great job, overall!

I like the way the tree has framed the distant mount..A superb composition, excellent interest..My eyes are still surveying the scene..OK - time to come back to Texas now ;)

A very quiet feeling very soft and subtle, partly as a result of the subdued light I think. Overall, a very pleasant composition.
