Ophrys phryganae is similar to Ophrys lutea but the inflorescence is laxer,flowers similar in structure but much smaller.

Flowering season: March- May

Habitat: Full sun to mid-shade on dry to moist alkaline subtrates.Mostly garrigue(phyrganae) and scrub.
