[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this flower on a side road between Ostuni and Cisternino in Puglia, Italy. Can anyone kindly ID it for me? Maybe member juanit? I will write to them separately. Is it even an orchid? It did seem to be so but my knowledge of petals, etc., is limited. Thank you.

Hello Terence

You definately have an orchid here.
Anacamptis coriophora ssp fragrans which I would probably go with looking at the length of the lip.
The other species A.coriophora ssp coriophora has a shorter lip.
Hope you find many more orchids on your travels.
