Grammodes bifasciata is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in Madagascar, eastern Africa, North Africa and other parts of the Mediterranean Basin, including south of France and Israel.
There are multiple generations per year in Africa. Adults are on wing from May to August.
The larvae feed on Rubus, Cistus (especially Cistus salviifolius), Smilax and Polygonum species.

It seems a task as such beauty is hard to find in low light, well exposed and composed TSF.

Well focused and exposed.
The ground is a bit distracting, but the moth is a nice subject.

Very nice moth with thw well-known triangle position of the wings, what's so usual from this kind of insects. Excellent exposure and spectacular shallow DoF to frame the moth. Bravo.
