This is one of the most widespread Europenan orchids, reaching the Caucasus in the east. This is a decieving flower, asttracting bees, but does not deliver any rewards (nectar).

Very nice capture of this terrestrial orchid species. Lovely composition and I like the tight crop. Beautiful colours, amazing DOF with great details at f/27, and the exposure was perfectly managed.

Hi Ori, good job and nice orchid, I have a papilionacea in my portfolio but it looks different, or better could be a subsp.
