[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
this bird is an adult Great grey shrike (Lanius excubitor) with a strange pinkish underparts.
Normally the underparts are white in lanius excubitor and pink-salmon on lesser grey shrike (Lanius minor), in this case it looks like Southern grey shrike (Lanius meridionalis) but it isn't. probaly is only a variable on the plumage of excubitor.

Averla maggiore con parti inferiori rosa.
Questi uccelli sono molto variabili ed all'inizio avevo esultato pensando all'Averla meridionale, si tratta invece della normale excubitor che per qualche motivo sconosciuto ha le parti inferiori rosa.
del resto la meridionalis accidentale in italia.

quindi occhio alle averle e Merry Christmas:-)

Hi Giacomo,
I must admit that bird photography is very difficult. The elements in making a splendid shot needs patient and strength very much. I adore your will.
i always appreciate bird photographer very much. I like this shot, the pose and its
distance shot.

Foto secondo me un po' scuretta. Prova a vedere l'immagine che ho postato come workshop.

Ciao e grazie
