Hello Vanni,
Considering you shutterspeed was only 400th this is a very fine sharp in-flight capture of a male Mallard taking off.
The wing movement is nice and the colours excellent.
This would have a better composition if there were more space in front of the mallard on the right, but sometimes that is not possible when taking in-flight shots.

Beautiful shot without doubt, even with 1/400 sec. shutter speed. For a flying bird try to use 1/1000 or even shorter, in this case the wings will be sharp also. Otherwise I like the photo, as mentioned.

complimenti per questa splendida cattura, colori e nitidezza sono ottimi e la composizione trasmette il dinamismo dell'azione e ha un ottimo impatto visivo, il tempo di 1/400 ha permesso di vedere l'effetto del movimento sulle ali, personalmente non ho una così bella immagine in volo di Germano, penso che il tuo 300 abbia il sistema antivibrazioni, il mio 300 non ce l'ha e mi capita spesso anche con tempi più veloci di non ottenere una buona nitidezza.
