Facts: The southern green stink bug is one of the largest stink bugs. It can be found in gardens, field crops, and roadside flowers. Adults are up to 3/4 of an inch long and solid green in color.

focus on the bug's surface is excellent. Sharp details are seen here. I think that you could have achieved more sharp structures by selecting a smaller aperture, f/14 would have been possible considering your actual exposure time of 1/500s.
