Hello Andrea,
Very good capture of the gull with its catch. Perfect timing. Sharpness, details, light and POV are excellent.I especially liked those ripples in the water.

Ciao Andrea povero granchio vittima della catena alimentare, certo che questo gabbiano di gusti raffinati, bella foto e splendidi i dettgli del piumaggio, dopo quasi un anno su TE son riuscito almeno a scoprire che i gabbiani da giovani non son bianchi..

Hi Andrea,
A good catch, both for the Herring Gull and yourself. It is quite amazing how some sign of movement in a photograph greatly enhances the picture. If the water had been flat the picture would not be anywhere as good as it is.

Locally, I have several times seen a Curlew catching Crabs. It shakes them by a leg or claw until it snaps them all off and then swallows the body. I have never heard of this behaviour in a Curlew, have you?
