[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Crocus albiflorus Kit. in early spring in the Apennine mountains in Italy. Altitude approx. 1500 metres.
This is one of the first flowers that appears after snowmelt in early spring, often pushing up through the snow.
One of the useful things about the Coolpix 5000 is the swiveling screen, which allows for insect-eye viewpoints without having to lie down on the ground!
