Hello Silvio !
Your 1st for this new year is a superb shot ! The butterfly in itself is wonderful, I love the eyes and the markings on his wings, and as usual you managed to capture excellent details on the whole butterfly - face, body, wings, antenna... I also like the vivid colors, the splendid composition, the great POV, the wonderful blurred BG. Very well done !

le BG est peut etre un peu trop present,f16 etait un peu de trop a mon gout mais le piqué sur le papillon est remarquable.

Hello Silvio,

What a fine photo you have chosen to start year 2009! There is such a fine image showing sharply the pattern of the wings. It the nice light you have captured colors are looking very natural. The blurry background enhaces even mor the feeling of sharpness.

What do you do with all those great images? Do you save them for winter as you seem? This is superior work Silvio. It is almost like some sort of gifted eye went back into your archives and dug out things which you thought maybe didn't work and then they ended up being the best of the crop! Good show..
