La volpe comune (Vulpes vulpes) è di gran lunga la specie più diffusa. Questo canide, lungo da 90 a 105 cm esclusa la coda, pesa circa 7 kg e si distingue per le orecchie e le estremità nere e la punta della coda bianca. Il mantello è generalmente color rosso-ruggine o marrone-rossiccio; alcuni peli hanno la punta bianca. L'areale della volpe comune si estende dall'Eurasia al Nord Africa e dal Messico settentrionale fino alla regione artica. All'interno di questi areali così vasti la specie ha sviluppato diverse varianti: quelle meridionali sono più piccole e hanno un mantello più chiaro, mentre quelle settentrionali sono più grandi, con una pelliccia più folta e un colore più scuro.
Questa foto è stata scattata nella Riserva Biviere di Gela. La volpe non si è accorta di nulla. Mi trovavo sottovento. Ho usato un ottica lunga. 500 mm. diaframma 8 catadiottico. il tempo non era eccezionale 1:250

bravo emilio une photo de vraie nature,c est tellement plus émouvant de voir un animal dans son environnement naturel et la découverte de ce renard doit t avoir beaucoup ému merci emilio

This is a beautiful capture of a Red Fox in the grass. Though a bit noisy, you present it sharply and with good comp.
