[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This butterfly is very little but it's very beautiful.
Familie: Lycaenidae
Lycaena virgaureae (LINNAEUS, 1758)
Flight Time: June - September
Size: 30-36mm
The male Scarce Copper is a strikingly beautiful butterfly with his vivid, solid orange upperside which is very conspicuous in flight. The undersides are very characteristic with the white splodges in the post-discal line. The female upperside is much duller and very spotty. Despite its name, this butterfly seems quite common in upland areas over about 1000m. Females are seen more rarely.

Hi Rimantas,
Lovely pose and colours. The background has a little noise and the wings need a little sharpening. So I have made a workshop. Thanks for posting.
Alan
