The Marsh Tit, Poecile palustris, is a passerine bird in the tit family Paridae. It is a widespread and common resident breeder throughout temperate Europe and northern Asia. It does not breed in Spain, Ireland, Scotland, or the colder northern countries. It is resident, and most birds do not migrate.

You've captured a cute pose of this little Marsh Tit. He looks very similar to a Chickadee, maybe they are cousins. The lighting is excellent and shows off the nice soft colour of his feathers. The lichens growing on the branch adds extra colour.

I love the detail and clarity here, you also have him in a wonderful pose and the branch lends itself well to the composition. Background is diffused nicely. Very good shot.

Wow. I am impressed with your camera Arunas. I have the FZ20 which is very similar and I'm not at all sure I could do as well. This is a fantastic sharp shot, with great exposure and a strong simple composition.

Lovely composition, Arunas.
The POV on this marsh tit is perfect, and the details are very sharp.
The light is good. I wish I could see the eye better, but it is hard on a black head. I like the gold on the lichen growing on the branch.
