This is a Brimstone butterfly, latin name: Gonepteryx rhamni. A medium-large butterfly with Leaf-shaped wings. Always rest with wings closed. Males have yellow-green underwings and yellow upperwings. Females have pale yellow-green wings, looking almost white in flight.

Beautiful butterfly and nicely perched on that flower. Lovely light and details registered in the frame.

Good image with natural colors but the BG is a bit noisy
