[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Silver-washed Fritillary (Argynnis paphia) is a European species of butterfly, which was in decline for much of the 1970s and 1980s but seems to be coming back to many of its old territories.
The Silver-washed fritillary is deep orange with black spots on the upper side of its wings and has a wingspan of 54-70 mm, with the male being smaller and paler than the female. The underside is green and unlike other fritillaries has silver streaks instead of silver spots, hence the name silver-washed. The caterpillar is black-brown with two yellow lines along its back and long reddish-brown spines.

Hi Rimantas.
This year there are many butterflies of the species. Last years I did not so many specimens. However< this year I have not took any shot. You are luckier. You have pictured it at attractive POV on Details of the butterfly are very good, wingspread is expressive and BG is simply splendid. a fine flower. TFS.
P.S. Many thanks for high estimation of my last picture. I am very pleased.

Hallo Rimantas
I like the composition and very close point of view of this image, as it brings all the beautiful details close to the eye giving more to appreciate. I especially fancy the patterns on the wings that you have captured so beautifully. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
