[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Nymph of a leafhopper. I will not venture to risk a determination as there are so many different species.

I started experimenting with the free Gimp2.2 software. It has almost the same capabilities as other commercial image manipulation softwares, and I am really satisfied with the results

PP : slight crop, curves' adjustment, USM filtering, selective Gaussian blur, burn tool on highlights on leafhopper's head, clone tool used on two dust spots.

Photo taken with the Sigma 50mm macro lens on my Nikon D70 body. Built-in flash used with plastic diffusor.
