You stat with a nice picture ! I like the strong and vivid colors of this picture, the contrast between green BG and red/pink dragonfly is very pleasant. It is nicely composed, too, with the greenery behind the dragonfly. Next time, you can try to go a bit closer, if you can - the picture will be even more beautiful.
