I still wonder why but carob trees seem to attract a large number of paper wasps. Most are highly active flying around the tree. But I found these three which seem they found some time to enjoy the warmth of the sun ;)

HI Matthew, these Paper Wasps have been in NZ for the last 20-30 years and we often see them sunning themselves on the warm side of fences or buildings.
They are well displayed here, not all are sharp though. But still you show them well. TFS
