[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The plains around locality Orcheul-Vechi are full with horde of marmots.
One of the fineest (length of a body of 17-26 sm). Weighs up to 500 gram. Painting of a back bright and motley.
It is widespread in steppes and southern forest-steppes of East European plain, from Danube and the Rod before average current of Volga.

Hope you like that.

Привет Tatiana,

Welcome to TrekNature, great composition! I really like the way you have focused on the subject and the rest has become blurred. Good use of a simple frame.
Well done, thanks for sharing.

Hi Tanya, I think you did well to capture this, are they easy to get close to?

Maybe you could improve this picture by cropping some of the top and left to take the marmot less central.

Well done, I'm pleased you liked the puffins - good to see you on away from TE too :-)

Ciao Tatiana,
bella questa foto con la marmotta, ben definita, complimenti!!

Hello Tatiana,
I've never seen one of these in nature. I heard they are quite cautious and run away fast. So the more I appreciate your shot.
Great focus and exposition.
Best greetings,
Michal
