Dear Friends!
When I am looking through the window I can see only rain and clouds, so today a small come back to something more optimistic - last holiday on the sunny Balkans!

Here we are again in the Skadar Lake National Park, the amazing place presented by me also here. But this time a view from another side ;>

This is a view for Rjeka Crnojevica the main river in this region and the main source of waters for the Skadar Lake (W part of the park).

As this area is protected as national park here are some basic data about this place:

names: Liqeni i Shkodrës - in Albanian, Skadarsko jezero - in Montenegrian

etymology: after Albanian city Shkodër

area: 360-550 sq. km - it depends on season and period of year; this is the largest lake on the Balkans.

lenght: 48km

width: up to 25km

medium depth: 7-10m

maximum depth: 44m

nature conservation: in Montenegro protected as a national park (one of 5 in all country) - about 40000 ha. Also known as special bird sanctuary included in 1996 in the Ramsar list of wetlands of international importance.

biodiversity: a lot of very interesting plants and animals, including some endemics. Here, here, here, here, here, and here you can see some of creatures photographed by my and Michal (cedryk) in this area :>

I hope that this picture will bring you some "sun" diuring rainy weather :>

Hello Radomir,
What a wonderful and very green landscape! I love your vantage point and the meandering "blue" river taking us into this beautiful valley. Great sharpness and lovely colours. Very nice composition. Looks like a really exciting place to visit!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hello Radomir,
What a beautiful point of view!
A wonderful valley is unfolding under my eyes, the lake (or is it a river) is a pleasant lead-in to the scenery...
Superb different shades of green, a well composed image!

Hi Radomir,
very good landscape composition.
I do like the POV a lot, with both sides sloping towards the center the eyes gets by the river guided through the valley. Very nice depth and fabulous scenery.

wonderful image, , very good landscape and composition . Regards! Carme.

Wonderful images.
Thank you for sharing them.
I'm really surprised there's so much beauty not so far away from here (Belgium:-).
You captured it very well.

Hi Radomir, lovely river landscape, wonderful view vith great light and colors, splendid POV, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Radomir,
a sharp, three-dimensional, well satured post-card, but above all a delightful place. Very well captured.

Hi Radomir,
What a beautiful piece of nature. The way the river shaped this landscape is really wonderful. I love all the different green colors and the fact that the river is flowing in a natural way. I really like how the river is taking me further into the scenery. It is a pity that the sky is too bright, I am sure that using a CP filter would have given you a more moody sky.

Radomir beautiful landscape and lovely composition. The lighting POV and all very good. TFS Ganesh

This scene looks like an interesting natural landscape without evidence of humans. I'm glad that so much of your wild areas are protected. I like your composition with the river leading into the scene to those interesting bumpy hills in the distance. the sharpness and natural color looks good. The sky is a bit overexposed and would have required a filter to expose more evenly.

Na widok tego miejsca az lza nostalgii i tesknoty sie w oku kreci...
Ladna kompozycja, szkoda natomiast ze niebo wyszlo przeswietlone. Moze warto bylo zrobic ta fotke jeszcze w paru wariantach ekspozycji (bracketing) i zobaczyc, ktory wyszedl najlepiej. No ale nie mozna miec wszystkiego.

Hola Radomir,
Preciosos paisaje con bello POV con luz y colores muy naturales. Saludos

Hello Radomir,

Great picture of this landscape.
Great color and lighting.

I have seen some very attractive pictures of this area, especially the ones posted by Michal, Radomir.
Nevertheless, this view from a higher elevation is equally fascinating, giving a deep and distant perspective into the valley of this lovely river.
TFS and bye.

Hi Radomir.
Quality of your amazing picture and beautifulness of the pictured landscape are terrific. Your rich green colour palette is impressed at high range. POV is great as well as the composition of the shot. Superb done picture. Bravo and TFS.

Hello Radomir,
I love your "postcards" series so much. This one again is featuring a scenery of unspoilt natural beauty that I would not have expected to come from our densely populated urbanized continent. Presented very precisely with enormous depth, in subtle colours, and perfectly composed. Postwork application of backlight tool on original data might bring out some more details on the slightly overexposed clouds to add to the excellent qualitiy of that "postcard" which is a rare document of fragile beauty that hopefully will stay conserved.
Thank you! With best regards,
