Hi,

A very nice shot of a juvenile Great Spotted Wood pecker (His red top of the head gives it away). Taken from a nice pov, f8 may have helped to get both feet in focus but otherwise a good shot with an excellent background.

Hello Thijs,
You have done a great job of photographing this beautifully marked woodpecker. The lighting appears to have been full sun light yet you managed the exposure very well. The relaxed posture reveals its sense of complete contentment, not knowing you were even there. Beautiful vivid colors and pin sharp.

This is a marvellous image of a Woodpecker that is perched atop a branch and not pecking at it.
