At the moment of shooting the mites where not visible. It was a surprise when I look at the photo at my computer.

Hi Jan
Very interesting educational presentation. I have never seen mite on bumble bee (only on dragonflies)

Sharpness is nice, buckground is perfect (nice contrast) POV is a little bit strange but it is not so important on that kind of photo. Great educatioanl shot unfortunately almost without a note

Hello Jan Arie,
a nice nature document and a pretty good picture of the bumble bee including the mites. I often oberseved mites on bumble bees, sometimes really crowds of them. I failed, however, to obtain suitable pictures. You were very successful!

Hele mooie macro opname. Mooie lage hoek heb je gekozen en zeer scherp met veel details (oa spinrag). Prachtige kleuren en tegen een mooie achtergrond.
