[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a vulnerable member of the cat family (Felidae), a poor climber that hunts by speed and stealth. As such, it is placed in its own genus, Acinonyx. It is the fastest of all land animals and can reach speeds of up to 105 kilometres per hour (65 mph) in short bursts up to 460 metres (500 yards), and has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 110 kilometres per hour (70 mph) in three seconds, faster than most supercars.

Photo taken in "Safaripark Beekse Bergen".
Photographed through my car window (no glass between Cheetah and lens). Car was stopped at an impossible place on a little hill to avoid trees and branches.
I guess the Cheetah must have been away 20 meters away or so...
Thought the Cheetah didn't noticed me. I'm not convinced any more...

Hi Annick,
A beautifully composed shot of this Cheetah. Very nice details, exposure and POV. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Very natural image of the Cheetah scratching itself, Annick.
You have managed a neat image from quite a long distance.

Hi Annick,
superb timing to catch this Cheetah doing what we all like to do at some point! You've managed to create a very natural looking scene here, with quite beautiful light falling in patches around the frame and a good sharp focus. very well done.

Wouaw Annick, elle est extraordinaire cette photo, tout y est, j'en reste bouche bée, un grand bravo

Hola Annick,
Bonita y simpática toma, de bella composición, buena definción y detalles, saludos
José Ramón

Hello Annick,
I love the pose of the Cheetah scratching itself. The dark green BG highlights the cheetah well and the natural light comong through the trees gives depth to the photo. A great shot,

Wonderful pose and colors there! Great detail - and yeah - he seems to know exactly what is going on. The BG is a little more detailed as one can wish for - fortunately not to an extent, that it is distracting! Great shot, Annick! Cheers, Klaus

Hi Annick,
Lovely composition and definition considering the shaded area. sharp and good colours.

Wow!, Very nice picture. Almost intimate portrait. Thanks for sharing

Hi Annick,
I like the scene, POV and DOF of this picture. Good eyes contact!

Hello Annick,
a great shot of a wonderful feline; this pose so natural (a daily upkeep...) and this glance so significative (do not forget who I am...). Very sharp and perfecly focused.
