Oyster mushroom
 |

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here's a mushroom that lives up to its name—it looks, smells, and tastes like oysters. With virtually no stalk, this mushroom's oyster-shaped caps usually grow in layers on dead deciduous wood (or on some supermarket shelves), like clusters of oysters. The moist, hairless, fragrant, white to smoky-gray caps are 2-8 inches wide. |

Great stuff Ton.
This is an awesome shot of these Pleurotus.
Taken from a great POV with excellent DOF lighting and detail.

Hallo Ton,

Hello Ton,
a beautiful perspective! Great depth of field and excellent sharpness to show this mushroom 'family'. The background forms a nice contrast. Light is well balanced and the colours are natural.
Best wishes, Peter
