This Swan is indeed in a very angry pose, His neck are really ruffled and he is making a good bow wave in the water as he speeds towards you.
Photographically the focus is good but the whites are over exposed, With the A700 there is little you could have done to counteract this in the original exposure but with photoshop you could use the shadow/highlight option which would balance the exposure more evenly.

The reflections in the water and the capture of the wave movements are assets to the composition. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the bird. The picture is clear and sharp. The good luminosity brings out the colors. Have a nice day.
